Delegate Fee. The $4,750.00 Delegate tuition and registration fee covers all on-site expenses, including 5 nights lodging, 3 meals per day, all elements of the Collaboration agenda, airport transportation, recreational facilities, internet café access and gratuities. The only other required expense is airfare. See Optional Expenses, below.Registration Fee Discounts. For early registration prior to December 31, 2009, the registration fee is $3250.00. For registration prior to March 31, 2010, the registration fee is $3750.00. For registration prior to June 30, 2010, the registration fee is $4250.00.
Non-Delegate Traveling Companion Fee. The Traveling Companion Fee is only $250.00 for all 5 nights (double occupancy, meals included). Non-Delegate Traveling Companions may attend all networking events, all recreational and educational programs, all evening activities and policy discussion tables at meals. The Colloquium for the Common Good and Collaboration Challenges are reserved for full Delegates only; Companions who wish to participate in the Colloquium or the Challenges should register as full Delegates ($2500.00, standard hotel double occupancy).
Toddler Traveling Companion Fee. The Opportunity Collaboration welcomes children three years of age and under when accompanied by a caregiver. The all-inclusive fee for a Toddler Traveling Companion is $250.00. Family-friendly dining, pool and beach areas are designated across the leadership campus, and family accommodations are equipped with strollers, cribs, baby bathtubs, bottle warmers and sanitizers, white noise players and changing areas. Nanny service is available onsite. Children four years of age and over are discouraged in order to maintain the Collaboration’s ambience of reflective dialogue.
Extended Stay Fee. Lodging for extended stays before or after the pre-paid 5 nights is $350.00 per night (double occupancy, including meals). As with all other hotel arrangements, book your extended stay with the Opportunity Collaboration Registrar Tracie Hudgins (email: THudgins@opportunitycollaboration.net). Airport shuttle is not included if Delegates depart any day other than October 20, 2010. Taxi fare is roughly $45.00 to the Zihuatanejo airport.
Optional Expenses. Laundry, international telephone, off-site excursions, spa services, in-room internet access, personal purchases in the boutique and selected premium alcoholic beverages are not included in the all-inclusive Delegate fee.
Cancellation Policies. Because room space in the leadership village is restricted to Delegates only and pre-paid by the Collaboration, cash refunds after June 30, 2010 are not possible. Instead, the Delegate’s fee balance will be credited towards the 2011 Collaboration. After January 1, 2010, a $750.00 cancellation fee is applied.
